Single BAP vs Multi BAP

When creating a Bundle with a dedicated Product Page ("Create Product Page" enabled), you will see an option for Bundle Presentation. This controls how the bundle and its items are treated in the Shopify cart, checkout, and order records.

Single BAP (Bundle as Product)​

"As a single product (Single BAP)"

When you select this option, the bundle is treated as a single, distinct product line item in the cart.

  • Cart/Checkout: The customer sees one item (the bundle title) in their cart.
  • Order Record: The order will show the single bundle product.
  • Use Case: Best when you want to sell a "kit" as a single unit or when you don't need the individual components to appear separately in the checkout.

Multi BAP (Bundle as Product)​

"As its included products (Multi BAP)"

When you select this option, the bundle expands into its individual components when added to the cart.

  • Cart/Checkout: The customer sees each individual product that makes up the bundle in their cart.
  • Order Record: The order lists the individual items, ensuring that inventory is deducted correctly for each component and fulfillment teams know exactly what to pack.
  • Use Case: Best for simple bundles where you want standard inventory tracking for each component and want the customer to see clear line items for what they are buying.
